Blue Blanket Improv

Auditions for New Play

Do you like to tell stories and make people laugh?
Have an eye for the absurd and an ear for accents?

In improv comedy, you’re part of a supportive team, co-creating with the players and audience, telling stories, creating characters, exploring relationships, and revealing hidden secrets.  The structure of the games keeps you on your toes and the audience laughing as you work in constraints like “Switch from English to gibberish” “Use exactly 5 words.”  “In the style of a Hollywood musical.”

 Sound like fun?! Join us!

Blue Blanket Improv has been performing on the Coast since 2007.  Our current troupe (5 men, 1 woman, and 2 high school interns) is seeking new players to have fun and join us onstage in “Short form improvisational comedy,” games in the style of Who’s Line Is It, Anyway?  Our weekly rehearsals (Monday 7pm - 9pm) are in El Granada and shows (one Saturday night per month 7pm – 9pm) are on the Coast, at FIT Studio, 50 N. Cabrillo Highway (Route 1) in Strawflower Village, the plaza with Safeway, CVS, Starbucks.
